Great food, almost a cross of Mexican and New Mexican well from what I'm used to. I like the atmosphere and style. The parking is odd make sure you park near the disabled parking or you'll have to walk all the to the side. I enjoyed it twice! Very nice instead of a burger go for the place!

Their green chilling meat/rice/bean burrito is amazing, food comes out fast, beer cold & lobby super clean. Latin music is just right.
What a jewel of a locally owned place to get your New Mexico green chili fix. Value great Service great Food great Cleanliness perfect The restaurant seem to have an upper deck setting I did not check out. If it does, this place could make for a great hangout
I was really concerned with the new location, I went to UNM for many years and Pericos was always my go to for lunch, but now it has moved, and I was worried it wouldn't be the same... I, fortunately, was wrong, this place is still amazing! I love getting the 6 pack of tacos, and the salsa you get is always on point! The bean burritos and everything else on the menu has always been the best! So happy they didn't just close, they only moved, and from what I can tell, am even better spot, although it's some distance from UNM now... something really needs to happen with the decay of Central, but that is another story.
I stay at the Best Western on Yale when I visit ABQ. To my surprise, on my August visit I discovered Pericos right across the street. My only suggestion for them is to turn down the video screen so patrons can talk easily. It was soaring the whole time I was inside. The menu is diverse and the food excellent. Large portions, too. I visited again and few weeks later and tried a new dish which was equally fine.
EDITED: to add two words. Sopapilla. Buritto. Yes, Together! Dont walk, RUN! I thought this place was AMAZEBALLS! My wife says her only complaint is they didn't have horchata, but honestly they had me at soapapilla buritto!
I grew up going here. Now I live in central Texas and this is the number one restaurant I miss. I personally like them better then Frontier(also 5 stars)
